Why Sharepoint? Print Page

What is it?

Sharepoint is a web-based set of applications that allows groups to share, collaborate and create. It is used to facilitate communication between groups as well as the creation of documents by a group. It brings together websites, intranets, documents, discussion groups and more to create a web-based meeting space so that groups can get work done.
