About this guide

This is your library research guide for Music, Theatre & Dance.  The Department of Music, Theatre, & Dance promotes a robust learning environment for the performing arts in the heart of Southern California’s entertainment industry. MTD faculty are committed to nurturing the next generation of actors, dancers, designers, musicians and scholars. The MTD offers Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degree options in Music, Theatre and Dance. The nationally accredited music program offers Bachelor of Music and Master of Music programs in Composition, Commercial Music, Afro-Latin Music, Jazz, Music Education, Keyboard Performance, Instrumental and Vocal Performance and Instrumental and Choral Conducting. The department is also home to the joint MFA in Television, Film and Theatre.
