The Department of Theatre and Dance at California State University, Los Angeles offers students the opportunity to discover and develop their own unique voices in a collaborative, diverse, inclusive, community-centered, and enriching learning environment  .Along with three degree options (Theatre Performance, Design & Production and Dance), the Department of Theatre and Dance produces 6-8 large theatre and dance events each academic year as well as workshops and master classes.  Yearly productions offer students and audiences a range of contemporary, modern, and dramatic literature; experimental, devised as well as musical theatre; and Dance production. Department productions include faculty-directed and supervised productions and workshops, Guest artist led productions, MFA theatrical projects, student-directed productions, original student plays and choreography.
