Hired, trained, managed and motivated 12 full-time and 70 part-time academic sales and marketing representatives. Duties included the creation, development and implementation of sales campaigns as well as customer support and product training programs for a variety of LexisNexis’ legal research and practice solutions-based products to more than 20,000+ students, faculty and librarians. Managed and developed social media presence and strategy in order to foster meaningful customer engagement. Provided leadership for global strategy and programs aimed at academic customers world-wide.

Managed large law firm accounts in San Francisco and Silicon Valley worth an aggregate of $2+ million. Trained customers in legal and business applications of LexisNexis products, particularly research services in order to ensure maximum value on subscriptions and drive incremental revenue for usage outside of contracts.

Developed LexisNexis’ growing corporate legal subscription business in the Western United States. Managed LexisNexis corporate legal customers accounts in CA, WA, OR, TX, CO, UT, ID, AZ and NM in order to convert them to long-term subscription plans and develop enterprise wide contracts. Consulted with corporate law departments, at the General Counsel level, in order to reduce costs by conducting legal and business related research and litigation in-house, as opposed to relying exclusively on outside counsel.

Managed large academic accounts made up of more than 5,000 customers. Trained law students and faculty in a law school territory including Harvard and Yale universities.
